Cancellations and refunds policy

At Form Society Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”), we value flexibility while ensuring fairness for all members and instructors. This Refunds & Cancellations Policy applies to all classes, memberships, events, and services. By booking with us, you agree to the following:

1. General Refund Policy

  • All purchases (class packs, memberships, subscriptions, and casual passes) are non-refundable except as required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

  • Refunds will only be issued in cases where services are not provided as promised, or where required by law.

  • Change of mind, non-attendance, or failure to use services within the validity period does not entitle you to a refund.

2. Class Bookings

  • Cancellations: Bookings can be cancelled up to 8 hours before class without being considered a late cancellation..

  • Late Cancellations / No-Shows:

    • If you cancel within 8 hours or do not attend, the following will apply:

      • Casual passes, class packs, 2 per week and 5 per month members — 1 class credit will be deducted.

      • unlimited subscription members — no fee will be charged.

  • Cancellations must be made via our booking system.

3. Memberships & Subscriptions

  • Weekly Subscription Memberships:

    • Minimum 12-week commitment applies, unless otherwise stated

    • After the initial period, cancellations require 1 weeks’ written notice to hello@formsociety.com.au.

    • Membership suspensions are permitted for up to 4 weeks, no more than once in a 3-month period.

  • Upfront Memberships/Class Packs:

    • Must be paid in full prior to first class.

    • Expiry dates are fixed and non-extendable unless otherwise agreed in writing and listed on purchase pages.

    • No refunds, transfers, or holds apply.

4. Events, Workshops & Retreats

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If cancelled by the participant, refunds will not be issued unless otherwise stated in event-specific terms.

  • If cancelled by us, a full refund or transfer to a future event will be offered.

5. Studio Closures & Schedule Changes

  • If we cancel a class (e.g., due to instructor illness or studio closure), a full credit will be returned to your account.

  • We are not responsible for incidental expenses (e.g., travel costs).

6. Exceptions

  • Refunds or credits outside this policy may be considered in cases of:

    • Serious illness or injury (with medical certificate).

    • Relocation outside the Perth metropolitan area with provided evidence.

  • Any exception is at the sole discretion of Form Society Pty Ltd.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
